Very nice to see a forum, I agree. Also I must say that the looks of it (layout, colour scheme, etc.) is wonderful. Horray for this. :D

It's still a nice theme though. I don't think it matters much as long as it's easy on the eyes, it's the content that matters.

Yes, indeed. I spent a lot of time tweaking that layout. :lol:

But yes, the default phpBB layout seemed attractive enough, so I went with it. It didn't seem reasonable to keep the default logo, though.

I can't wait for the first thread about pathnames that morphs into how Lisp is rubbish because it "doesn't even have pattern-matching over algebraic data-types, can you believe it?" or some such :P

This is great. I was just lamenting the other day the fact that there is no Common Lisp equivalent of ruby-forum.com or perlmonks or the great community sites other languages have. You're 100% correct that many people will come to a message board who wouldn't come to a mailing list. And comp.lang.lisp has been 75% spam about fake watches and shoes for the past six months anyways.

I hope this forum works, and that it remains newbie-friendly.
