remove-duplicates
Hello all, I have a question about the remove-duplicates function. I understand how it works, just want to ask a few things about it: remove-duplicates sequence &key :from-end :test :test-not :start :end :key 1. What exactly is the :test-not argument used for? 2. I wanted to use the remove-dupli...

Quicklisp
Hi, I'm sorry if this is a dumb question: I am new to Common Lisp and have been doing some research on everything available. So, yesterday night I installed Quicklisp for my ACL (Allegro Common Lisp - Express Edition). There are so many libraries that can be loaded into my lisp, but, my question is,...

Re: Hey, what's up?
Well I just finished Land of Lisp. I'll give it 4 out of 5 stars: First of all, for a beginner that wants to learn about Common Lisp (Such as what I was when I got this book), this will definitely do the job. This book is definitely geared towards beginners that want to learn the language. With that...

Nice to "meet" you too! Hope to see you around the forum. I just recently joined too, and at the moment it seems to be a bit inactive. Maybe it will spice up a bit when high school gets out for the summer. For those in high school anyway.

Lisp Users in NY (Upstate NY preferably)
Hello,
Just checking to see if there is anyone out there that uses lisp regularly from NY. I know where I go to college Lisp is pretty much not used at all, academically or recreational. So, are there any lispers out there from Upstate NY or just NY in general?

Hey, what's up?
What's up everyone! Just doing a little introduction of myself since I think I'm going to be sticking around for a while. My name is Eric and I'm in college (going into my senior year). At college I am studying Computer Science with a concentration in Advanced Computing. I guess you can say I'm an o...
